It was a late night for me yesterday so blogging wasn't happening. But I am making up for it.
Today in my therapy session me and my therapist got on the subject of my faith and we talked about someone who I had brought closer to God and she said that being able to bring God into someone's life says a lot about me. I enjoyed hearing that from her and although I never really thought about it before because I did not realize I was doing it, it is a good thing to do. It makes me happy to know that I was able to spread my faith onto someone else, I did not think I was capable of doing that. If I can, than anyone can. So next time you get the opportunity to spread your faith to someone else, do it!
I just thought I'd share a little part of my day with y'all. :)
His word:
Day 12: Philippians 4:6; Isaiah 26:3
Day 13: John 11:25; Matthew 11:28-29; 1 Peter 1:8-9
Her word:
The peace in our life is dependent on our faith. God promises to keep us in peace as long as we trust in him. We usually search for peace in things like money or other material type things and that is all wrong. The only place we need to look for it is within God.
Another side note to share since I didn't get a chance to post yesterday:
I went home again this weekend and on Saturday night me and my mom both were doing some bible time. She was working on her bible study and I was doing my devotional. We ended up discussing what the different books of the bible meant and who wrote them because I had no idea and always wondered. She showed me this thing she bought at a Christian book store that broke down the different books in the bible. (I took a picture but it is on my phone so I will post it later tonight). It tells you who wrote the book if known and what the purpose of the book is. I really liked it because I never knew that kind of stuff. It also helps me understand what I am reading.
There still so much more of lent left and I feel closer to God already so I'm excited to see how my journey continues. Goodnight!
